Mark was born here in Parkersburg ,Wv. He graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1972. He went to work for the City at the Water Dept. and maintained the job position for 22 years. His father owned a boat ever since he was a small child thus he grew up with boats on the Ohio River. He became a member/owner when he was 18 years old of the private Blennerhassett Yacht Club in Belpre,Ohio just across the river from Parkersburg. He is a self-taught Boat Mechanic with over 30 years Exp. Mark is often called upon to Repair, Maintain, Pick-up and Delivery Boats of all makes, models and sizes. He is well respected by other Mechanics in the area and often share's ideals and projects with them. Mark would often spend his evenings after work at the club working on boats and hanging out with the other members after 22 years at the Water Dept he decided to work on boats full time thus MPBoatDoc Boat Repair & Maintenance Services was established in the year 2000 with the help of hisFirst Mate Donna,
between the two of them they run and operate the Boat Service together. Mark is better known in the area as just Mark Pitts(Boat Mechanic) rather than MPBoatDoc but with the help of Donna they came up with the name MPBoatDoc. Mark maintains a high set of ethics when it comes to Repairing and Maintaining Boats, he Guarantees his work, enjoys it and takes pride in it. If he is not happy with the job done, he keeps at it until he is satisfied that it is correctly done and if he cannot do it, he will refer you to someone else that can help you. His area's of specialty is Electrical Systems, Mechanical, Meters, Pumps, Winterization and De-Winterization, Fuel Systems, Water Systems, Motors, Alternators, and much more! He is willing to provide On-Site Services if needed. He can also provide you with references if asked for.
